To trudge means to keep walking forward with purpose, even when the road is difficult
I chose Trudge because recovery is not about standing still or pretending the journey is easy It is about courageously taking the next honest step—one day, one family, and one hopeful decision at a time
The name represents perseverance, healing, and forward movement on the road toward a happy destiny
Why Trudging Home
No parent should have to choose between recovery and family.
Families affected by substance use often face housing instability, separation, and limited recovery options designed for parents with children—especially fathers. Trudging Home will welcome both women and men with children and help families move toward lasting stability.
